All of Somerfield's stores will be rebadged with a new logo, although the process could take several years. Chief executive Alan Smith said the company was finalising a new corporate logo likely to be unveiled on a new store in about three months, "a relative of the current logo, but noticeably different". The move comes a few months after the group unveiled a modified Kwik Save fascia. Smith said this had been changed further, with the final version displayed on the Kwik Save model store opened in Sale, Greater Manchester, in November. He said: "As we do makeovers in the future we will put the new signage on to both Kwik Save and Somerfield stores." But he warned it could take five years to change them all. {{NEWS }}
