More than 200 youngsters learning skills on Tesco’s property apprentice scheme completed their first year of training this week. The scheme was set up last year. Tesco partners with almost 50 construction businesses to provide skills over courses lasting up to four years.
Tesco has spent more than £30m on a new training academy in South Korea, which it plans to use to train 24,000 staff a year from across its Asia operations.
