Harry Tuffins is building the biggest covered market in Mid Wales at its Churchstoke HQ to house its long-running Sunday market and car boot sale.

The independent retailer is investing £200,000 in the new 20,000 sq ft structure, expected to be completed in two weeks.

"We have been running the Sunday market for 30 years but the car boot sale is becoming more popular, with the economic slowdown forcing the public to sell off non-essentials," said MD Paul Delves. "We also have stalls of local produce including fruit, vegetables and meats."
