South Korea: Brown Rice Granola

Who says cereal has to be sweet? This Vegetable Brown Rice Granola (KRW620.00/£0.42) is made with pumpkin, purple sweet potato, green tea and broccoli. The pack contains a spoon, so it can be eaten anywhere with or without milk.

Germany: Matcha Porridge

Kickstart the day with this organic Matcha Breakfast Porridge (€9.99/£8.62), which contains natural antioxidants and protein. Suitable for vegans, it is flavoured with vanilla, plum and premium matcha tea.

France: Amaranth and Chocolate Biscuits

For those days when you’re just too busy for breakfast, these Amaranth and Chocolate Breakfast Biscuits (€2.39/£2.06) would be ideal. Each box contains four packs of four biscuits, which have the softness of cereal and the melting texture of chocolate.

China: Five-grain Oatmeal

Consumers these days want their breakfast quick, easy and healthy, especially when it comes to porridge. So this Black Five-Grain Oatmeal (CNY36.00/£4.12), which just needs hot water added, ticks all the boxes. Each tub contains 24 sachets.

USA: Chicken Sausage Patties

Make a change from bangers and bacon with Simply Balanced Breakfast Chicken Sausage Patties ($3.99/£3.04). Containing just chicken and seasoning, these fully cooked patties can be prepared in the microwave or oven.

Austria: Juice with Whey and Honey

Packed full of fruit and enriched with whey, honey and agave, this Breakfast Fruit Cocktail Juice (€3.99/£3.44) is a delicious and nutritious start to the day. This organic juice retails in a 500ml bottle.

USA: Pecan Breakfast Mix

Kellogg's Cinnamon Roasted Candied Pecan Breakfast Mix ($1.28/£0.98) is an ideal on-the-go breakfast. Pop the resealable pouch in your cup holder to snack on during the drive to work, or enjoy it with milk when you arrive.

Norway: Yogurt with Melon and Passionfruit

First Arla had a go, now we’ve got a Norwegian take on Icelandic Skyr. This Breakfast Yogurt with Melon and Passionfruit (NOK9.80/£0.91) contains 30% less sugar than other fruit yoghurts, as well as reduced lactose.

USA: Chicken Breakfast Burrito

It’s not often you can have a hearty, tasty and gluten-free breakfast at the touch of a button, but Udi’s has made that possible with its Chicken Breakfast Burrito ($2.79/£2.12). This microwaveable burrito contains chicken, rice, black beans, cheese and vegetables.

South Korea: Morning Soup

First it was savoury cereal, now South Korea is serving up soup for breakfast. Organic Morning Soup (KRW4,850/£3.30) is flavoured with onion, garlic and pepper powders and each 75g packet contains three to four servings.
