conviviality checkout epos pos contactless payment

Conviviality is rolling out a new EPoS system to retailers in its Bargain Booze, Wine Rack and Thoroughgoods brands.

The new system will feature easy-to-use ordering, stock checking, deliveries and reporting on-site.

A wifi-enabled Android handheld device will also be available to allow franchisees mobile shop control. A helpdesk facility operated by field engineers will be open seven days a week.

A pilot store, Sneyd Green in Stoke-on-Trent, will go live at the end of January and the new technology will be rolled out to all Conviviality franchisees this year.

“This new EPoS system will be a game-changer for both Conviviality Retail and, most importantly, our franchisees,” said Conviviality head of IT Dave Robertson.

“Our franchisees will be able to take greater control of their business, whilst benefiting from the highest possible levels of service and support with this new cutting-edge system.”

The new system is designed and developed as part of a three-year contract with Universe Group HTEC.

Robertson added: “We are delighted to be working with HTEC and look forward to delivering the benefits that our relationship with HTEC can bring to our franchisees over coming months and years.”
