Kraft is taking its Philadelphia with Cadbury spread into snacking with the launch of new dipping packs.
The packs - 69p for a 50g pack - offer a portion of spread, with a separate compartment of mini oat biscuits for dipping. Kraft believes the new product will appeal to consumers who want a sweet snack in the afternoon.
The main Philadelphia with Cadbury spread - which launched in February - has already racked up £6.5m in retail sales [Nielsen 28 July 2012]. It has also added incremental sales to the category.
Both products will benefit from Kraft’s £3.2m UK marketing investment for the Philadelphia with Cadbury brand in 2012.
