A new tortilla chips brand has been launched by the former managing director of Intersnack.

Calum Ryder, who left the Pom-Bear and Penn State owner in June last year, has set up new company All Good to launch the Mexican Dave’s Tortilla Chips brand.

Following a soft launch in September, the range - which comprises Lightly Salted, Nacho cheese and Hot Hot Chilli variants (rsp: £1.29/225g and £1.99/400g) - is rolling into Nisa stores in January.

On the back of “strong interest” from the trade, Ryder said he expected the brand to be in broad distribution by the end of next year.

“All Good was born out of a desire to create products that are not only authentic and tasty but use only the finest ingredients and include absolutely nothing artificial,” he said.

Based in north-east England, All Good planned to launch further brands early next year, as well as new pack formats and flavours for Mexican Dave’s Tortilla Chips, said Ryder.

The business is supporting the launch of Mexican Dave’s with social media activity that kicks off in January alongside a trade press campaign.
