Aussie wine producer De Bortoli is expanding its portfolio with a new sparkling wine to cash in on the growing popularity of the drink in the UK.
Rococo is the company’s first sparkling wine from the Yarra Valley to be released in the UK. Priced at £11.99, it is positioned at the top end of the market.
Inspired by the art movement of the same name, De Bortoli’s Rococo has an elaborate bottle design, similar to that of Champagne.
Last year, sparkling wine sales were up 11% in value, [Nielsen 52 w/e 4 October].
