Young’s Seafood has unveiled new wave of NPD, adding frozen marinated basa fillets to its Gastro line-up and five new ready meals to The Funky Fish Kitchen.
Available in Sweet Chilli, Cajun and Lemon & Herb variants, Gastro Marinades will roll out in Sainsbury’s and Waitrose from the end of the month (rsp: £3/260g). Each pack can be prepared in the oven or microwaved.
“Gastro Marinades have all the positives of ‘naked’ natural fish, but without the barriers,” Young’s claimed.
Five new ready meals, including Malaysian Fish Curry with Basmati Rice, launched exclusively in Asda under the Funky Fish Kitchen brand this week (rsp: £2/360g).
