Healthy ingredients and added value products continued to be a consistent theme on the featured space promotional shelves for the week ending 2 October.

Flora's Pro-activ yoghurt drinks and spreads have shown consistent activity and featured in Asda, Morrisons and Sainsbury's stores. Asda had Flora Pro-activ blood pressure drinks for £1.24, down from £2.48, Flora Pro-activ drinks at £1.00, down from £1.98, and Flora Omega-3 spread at 74p - all products equivalent to half price but promoted using the save mechanic and PoS.

Sainsbury's offerings for Flora included Flora Pro-activ drinks four-pack at £2.49 with a buy-one-get-one-free and Flora Pro-activ ­yoghurts four-pack reduced to £1.39 from £2.09. The Pro-activ spread 500g and Pro-activ olive spread 500g were both available for £2.79, a saving of £1.40.

Danone's Activia eight-pack ­yoghurt was available in Asda using the save mechanic, while Danone's ­Actimel yoghurt drinks eight-pack, using x for y, and Shape yoghurts four-pack, using buy-one-get-one-free, were on featured space promotion in Tesco.

Benecol yoghurt drinks were available in Asda with a six-pack costing £1.64, using the save mechanic, and PoS (original price was £3.28). Vie Shots were available on a save mechanic in Asda, priced at 63p.

Heavy promotion of Johnson's baby range of products ensured the brand leapt to the top of the health, beauty and baby category, with 47% of promotional space allocated. The brand was present in all retailers ­except Somerfield.

Asda had Johnson's Holiday Skin 400ml on offer at £4.00 from £6.78, while Morrisons had Johnson's Holiday Skin 250ml product available at £2.47 with a buy-one-get-one-free.

Tesco had Johnson's baby wipes on a buy-one-get-one-free at £2.59. Sainsbury's had the best range of Johnson's products, with baby bath, lotion, oil, powder, bedtime wash, Softwash and bodywash all available on buy-one-get-one-free.
