Night Nurse Hot Lemon Menthol Drink (GSK)
Launched: October 2011
GSK's first ever pharmacy-strength hot drink product (rsp: £4.49 for a pack of five) combines the comfort of a medicated hot drink with the decongestant properties of menthol, says its owner. Some may question the wisdom of launching a product available only from pharmacists (thanks to its active ingredients), but GSK says the drink will benefit from the growing number of in-store pharmacies operated by supermarkets.
