US mustard brand French’s is hoping to persuade retailers to stock it alongside other mustards by extending its range with a glass jar format.

The brand, which is currently packed in large plastic bottles and typically stocked alongside table sauces, is launching a 170g jar this autumn in a bid to get on the mustard fixture and attract new shoppers.

French’s said some customers didn’t know where to find its products and expected to see them with other mustards.
