There are plenty of gluten-free, dried pastas available in the major mults, from brands such as Doves Farm to those rolled out under own-label ‘free-from’ ranges. But fresh gluten-free pasta was an untapped market until earlier this year, when the first range arrived courtesy of Pasta Julia. Conceived by head of development Luca Fabbri as a solution for his gluten-intolerant son, the range - which includes fusilli and ravioli - is due to be available from Ocado next month and is currently undergoing a branding and flavour revamp.
