TV presenter Carol Smillie is fronting a new campaign to encourage Scottish shoppers to save money by using the leftovers from Sunday roasts in other meals. Quality Meat Scotland has produced a Make The Most of The Whole Roast booklet, with recipes including curries and soups. “With a little bit of forward planning, shoppers can make their weekend roast go a whole lot further,” said QMS marketing executive Jack Broussine.
