Pots and Co

The company did not comment on the latest raise

Premium dessert manufacturer Pots & Co has raised £558k worth of capital by issuing new shares.

According to a statement published at Companies House, the London-based pudding business issued 8,293 shares at £67.35 each at the end of December.

Pots & Co refused to divulge any details on the latest cash raise.

The company, whose dessert range is currently stocked by Waitrose, Tesco, Selfridges and Eat, among others, secured a £1.2m funding package from Lloyds Bank in July.

Then, it said it would use the cash to target international expansion with a growth focus on the US, which accounts for over half of its sales.

In 2018, Pots & Co sold 14 million puddings globally, with aims of boosting sales to more than 22 million units by 2019.
