Gressingham Foods, which supplies own-label poussin to supermarkets, has moved into the branded poussin market with the launch of two products.
Whole poussin and spatchcock poussin have gone into Tesco and Sainsbury’s this week under the Gressingham Foods brand and will also be sold to independent retailers and foodservice.
“This strengthens the Gressingham Foods name among consumers as a brand synonymous with quality poultry and speciality meats,” said commercial MD William Buchanan.
