Kabuto noodles kicks off first TV campaign

Upmarket noodle pot brand Kabuto is launching its first TV campaign as part of a £350k spend.

It will run in three six-week bursts, in July, September and next January, on Viacom’s Comedy Channel.

Founder Crispin Busk said the brand had grown from £100k in 2011, its launch year, to £750k in 2012, and was set to reach £2m this year.

Two new flavours, chilli chicken ramen and prawn tom yum, will be listed in 350 Sainsbury’s from 1 July (rsp: £1.99).
