Filling goose fat gap 

RH Amar has launched a French duck fat under the Maison Rivière brand to cash in on the popularity of goose fat during the festive season. Available from Asda stores now, a 330g tin is priced £2.99. Goose fat has been in short supply for the past couple of years as demand has shot up, while the goose population in Europe has been reduced significantly due to avian flu. 

Hot Cross loaf back 

Warburtons is gearing up for Easter by bringing back its Hot Cross Bun Loaf. The loaf, which has already hit the shelves, comes in a 400g format priced at £1.24. 

Butcher sells 

Shloer Model and celebrity mother Lisa Butcher has been signed up to front two marketing campaigns for sparkling soft drink Shloer over the Christmas period. The activity will be targeted at expectant mothers and female office workers. 

Organic juice 

Health juice brand Sunraysia has added to its portfolio with the introduction of its first organic juice - pure squeezed organic carrot juice. It is now available in all Waitrose stores with an rsp of £2.99 for a 750ml bottle. 

Retro rewards 

Cadbury is launching a nostalgic on-pack promotion for Cadbury Mini Rolls, offering retro rewards such as Rubiks Cubes and Space Hoppers. The 'Blast from the Past' promotion will run across 11 million packs from now until next August, supported by in-store and online activity. 

Med inspiration 

Ryvita is extending its crispbread portfolio with two new Mediterranean-inspired variants: tomato & basil and garlic & rosemary. Hitting supermarket shelves in January, a 200g pack has an rsp of £1.15.
