Interbrew UK is rejigging its marketing team to drive the growth of brands such as Stella Artois and Castlemaine XXXX.
The restructure focuses on three areas - brand marketing, innovation and intelligence and channel marketing - headed by marketing director Phil Rumbol.
Julie Laycock, global trade marketing manager of Red Bull International, joins as director of take home marketing. She will manage a team of 20 brand marketing, trade marketing and category management experts.
Laycock has previously worked as a buyer for Tesco and has also held posts at Coca-Cola Enterprises and Red Bull UK.
Liam Newton is to become brands director, overseeing the
strategy for the total Interbrew brand portfolio. He joins from Nestlé Rowntree where he was head of brand marketing.
Director of marketing services Jo Franks is moving to the post of director of innovation and intelligence.
Geoff Blanck, director of marketing for Labatt USA, becomes brands controller for premium lager.
