Carey, who joins on February 26, will report to European vice president Tim Mobsby. Background: Dublin-born Carey joins Kellogg from Northern Foods where he had been md of Fox's Biscuits for two years. The 38-year-old began his marketing career with paper maker Wiggins Teape. He held a number of marketing posts with Northern Foods and Allied Domecq. In 1994 he joined Danone as marketing director of Jacob's Biscuits, before becoming md of Evian/Volvic in the UK and Ireland. After five years with Danone he rejoined Northern Foods.
