Patrick Cairns has been named the new CEO of Kallo Foods, the organic and wholefoods company behind the Whole Earth brand and Kallo Rice Cakes and Stock Cubes.
Cairns was previously CEO of Plum Baby, the organic babyfood company, which he led until its sale to private equity firm Darwin in May 2010. Prior to this, he held senior marketing roles at Unilever.
As part of the move, Cairns also becomes CEO of wholesaler Tree of Life, and joins the European management board of Kallo and Tree of Life's Dutch parent company Royal Wessanen nv.
