Lactofree is expanding its range of lactose-free dairy products into the on-the-go market with the launch of new 20ml portion packs for its UHT semi-skimmed dairy drink.

The packs (rsp: 60p for a pack of five) are currently on trial in 400 Tescos and would help consumers with lactose intolerance manage their condition on the go, it said. The launch will be supported by print ads as well as on-pack recommendations on some full-size Lactofree products. Lactofree estimates 15% of the UK population is lactose-intolerant.
