The Manflu range of products designed to “comfort and sooth” sickly fellas is expanding into energy tablets.
Pitched as helping get poorly men off the sofa, Instant Energy is a tube of chewable tablets containing D-glucose and five vitamins (rsp: £1.09). It launched into Numark pharmacies this week at a £1 promotional price ahead of wider retail distribution this year.
Manflu has also recently extended its line-up with an impulse bag of its Lozzers lozenges on sale in retailers including Sainsbury’s.
“Retailers are crying out for innovative new products,” said Manflu director Jonathan Evans. “We have come to inject some pace into the category.”
