As the dust settles on another Black Friday, it would seem that the now annual scramble for discounted televisions and tablets has been as chaotic and popular as ever.

In London, police were called to three Tesco stores and one Asda as tension between the hordes of bargain hunters mounted although no arrests were made.

Asda described the reaction to Black Friday in its stores as phenomenal with customers queuing for hours to get their hands on 40” Polaroid LED TV’s for £80, Archos 7” tablets for £29 and Samsung Galaxy Note 8” for £109
