Snickers has bagged some impressive celebs for its ‘you’re not you when you’re hungry’ push. But even the likes of Joan Collins and Rowan Atkinson are eclipsed by the star power of Elton John.

In a house where a rap battle is taking place, rapper Grizzle is dissing his rival Boogie. But the subject of his shade appears to be Elton, who gamely launches into a hammy rendition of ‘Don’t Go Breaking My Heart’, silencing his bemused crew. A Snickers restores Boogie’s edge and, himself again, he’s biting back in no time.

The familiar format is still effective – and Elton is good value (even tolerating a jibe in Grizzle’s rap about “the day you lost your hairline”). The rapping’s not bad, either.
