Scarborough-based Nisa retailer Proudfoot Group has showcased its seasonal range of food and drink during a ‘meet the producer’ event in store to boost Christmas trade.
The event allowed customers to sample produce and speak to local suppliers, such as Anna’s Happy Trotters, Bradley’s Bakery, Johnson’s Fresh Fish, Original Baker, Hearts and Flowers, Taylors of Harrogate and McCain, before placing their orders for Christmas.
Proudfoot Group co-director Valerie Aston said: “Following on from the success of our annual Yorkshire Day events, this year we decided to hold a similar event but with a Christmas theme that also gave customers the opportunity to try some fantastic local produce from local suppliers and place orders with them ahead of the big day.
“There was a wonderful atmosphere in store and we hope the event inspired customers to trade up and try something new this Christmas.”
