Northern Irish cereal supplier White’s Oats has announced a £1m drive to grow its presence in the UK and further afield.

The company will create 29 jobs across sales, R&D and shop floor with the aim of doubling turnover and profits in the next three years. It plans to launch a ‘grab and go’ convenience range aimed at the UK market.

White’s produces porridge oats and other breakfast cereals under the White’s brand, which is supplied to retailers including Asda and Sainsbury’s, as well as own label products for Aldi and Lidl in Ireland.

“Health and convenience represent two key trends White’s is ideally placed to service,” said White’s general manager James Mathers.
