Morrisons is to revamp its pre-packed cooked meats and pâtés with the introduction of 24 new and 99 improved lines.

The products - which Morrisons claims will be of restaurant quality - will launch on 11 June. New products will include a premium black cured ham coated in a ‘Shropshire’ glaze of molasses and juniper berries, and beech-smoked chicken.

The chain will also launch a new ‘ingredients’ range including sliced pancetta, diced chorizo and crispy smoked bacon for stronger flavoured meals.

In addition to cooked meats, a light and creamy new chicken parfait and a rich farmhouse pork liver pâté will be introduced.
