Gloucester-based Lanes Health has acquired caffeine tablet brand Pro Plus from German multinational Bayer for an undisclosed sum. Lanes took control of the brand on Monday.
Pro Plus joins Olbas, Kalms, Teangi Tea Tree and Polar Frost Gel in the Lanes Health portfolio. In 2007, it took over medicated confectionery company Jakemans, and last year acquired eight brands from Reckitt Benckiser: Earex, Derbac M, Resolve, Ralgex, Waspeze, Burneze, Compound W and Sea Legs.
“This is a significant acquisition for us which will support our ambition to be one of the leading family owned consumer health businesses in the UK,” said Lanes Health sales and marketing director Dave Cole. “We are delighted to be bringing Pro Plus into the Lanes Health range.”
