English cattle farmers have welcomed the launch of an advertising campaign to promote Scotch beef in England. English Beef and Lamb Executive head of marketing Andrew Garvey said it was a case of “the more the merrier” when it came to advertising beef.
Garvey was referring to a series of TV ads to be launched by Quality Meat Scotland in London and the Midlands from August 1.
He added: “The more advertising is done the more consumers will be aware of the range of beef available in Britain. I am sure these ads will increase consumer awareness of our own Beefy and Lamby TV campaign for Quality Standard beef and lamb.”
