Fine food distributor RH Amar has appointed foodservice and hospitality specialist Warren Harris to the newly created role of business development manager.
Harris will join the senior sales team as the business looks to expand its foodservice ‘end user’ division as part of a three-year strategic plan.
He will report into sales director Justin Burbage.
Harris had previously worked at foodservice giant Brakes for 22 years in various roles, but most recently as national account manager and business development manager.
The early part of his career included management positions with hotel chain De Vere and Whitbread Inns.
“Warren will be a great addition to our team as we continue to expand our foodservice end user business as part of our new three-year strategic growth plan,” said Burbage.
“With a fantastic portfolio of foodservice brands, including our company-owned Cooks & Co range, we know we have a huge opportunity to support pubs, restaurants, hotels, leisure chains and more besides during this critical period for the hospitality sector.
