Musgrave GB is to introduce its mid-tier range Made Easy to Londis stores on Monday.

Five lines from the semi-prepared range - launched in Budgens last August - will go into Londis, including pork belly joint with soy, garlic & ginger, meatballs with tomato & chorizo sauce, and hunter’s chicken.

Musgrave is also expanding the range in Budgens from four to 11 lines after sales exceeded expectations by 125%.

“The four meat lines have surpassed expectations and contributed to the Budgens meat category outperforming the market by 3% in the last 12 weeks of 2013,” said MD Donal Horgan. “We are also providing retailers with fixed margins.”
