Ribena and Lucozade have been given the all clear for consumption by Muslims.
A leading British organisation on Islamic law has issued a fatwa to say that Muslims can drink both products, according to newspaper reports.
The ruling came about following concerns that Lucozade contained alcohol, which may therefore breach the Muslim religion. The drink contains trace amounts of alcohol, which are permitted by food laws.
Ribena was also given the all clear after questions were raised about its production process, which uses a filter made from gelatin, derived from pigs.
