Position: Take-home director Company: Greene King The job: Jardine will take up his position on May 1. He will be responsible for driving sales of Greene King's major beer brands ­ Abbot Ale, IPA, Old Speckled Hen and Ruddle's ­ in supermarkets, convenience stores and off-licences. Greene King md of brewing and brands, Rooney Anand, said: "Expansion of our take-home channel is a crucial part of our business development plans and with Neil's appointment we have a grocery specialist on our team. Background: Jardine, 34, was previously sales director for Douwe Egberts UK ­ part of the Sara Lee Corporation ­ which he joined in 1998. He was responsible for retail sales in the UK and Ireland.
