Carlsberg has named Jorgen Buhl Rasmussen as its new CEO.
Rasmussen, who is a member of Carlsberg's executive board and heads BBH, Carlsberg's joint Russian venture with Scottish & Newcastle, will take up the role on 1 October, replacing Nils Andersen who has been CEO for six years.
His appointment has reignited speculation that Carlsberg could launch a bid for Scottish & Newcastle.
