Online retailer Firebox has added a new ‘Dragon Tears’ whisky drink to its ‘Mythical Tears’ range of quirky spirits.
Dragon Tears (40% abv) is a cinnamon spirit drink made with blended Scotch, which shimmers when the bottle is shaken (rsp: £39.99/50cl).
Billed as being inspired by the coming season of Game of Thrones, Firebox said Dragon Tears would be best paired with coke for “a twist of sinful cinnamon” or sweet vermouth and bitter in a Manhattan. Its malt content is circa 20%, with the youngest spirit used in the blend coming in at three years old.
The NPD brings Firebox’s Mythical Tears range to four-strong, sitting alongside Phoenix Tears Spiced Rum, Unicorn Tears Gin Liqueur and Mermaid Tears Vodka.
