The supplier behind Salty Dog crisps has unveiled pork scratchings brand Gruntled, which promises to be “less tooth-breaking than traditional scratchings”.
Available in Cornish Sea Salt, Habanero and English Mustard flavours, Gruntled Pork Crackling by Salty Dog Brands will be available from 6 June, appearing soon on shelf in Booths stores across northern England (rsp: £90p/40g bag). “We’ve taken the finest pork and cooked it twice, which makes it lighter,” said co-founder Dave Willis.
