Premium pork crackling brand Mr Trotter’s has launched an air-dried sausage trio.
The Sausalamis range, available from next week, comes in Original, Cracked Black Pepper and Jalapeno Chilli flavours (rsp: £2 per individual 35g pack). Made with 100% British pork and flavoured with Mr Trotter’s ‘special seasoning’, the snacks contain 27.7g to 31.9g of protein per 100g (depending on variant) and come with an eight-month shelf-life.
The trio’s aim was to “revolutionise” the cured meat snacks sector, said Matthew Fort, co-founder of Mr Trotter’s, which he established in 2011 with Tom Parker Bowles, farmer Rupert Ponsonby and pork crackling specialist Graham Jebb.
