Booker’s Food To Share range is set to undergo an overhaul, with a full brand refresh and five new additions at launch in June.

Inspired by global flavours and in-demand foods, new products include Truffle & Mozzarella Bites, Kimchi Hash Browns, Frickles, Pork & ‘Nduja Meatballs and Nacho Cheese Triangles.

The foodservice wholesaler said the new lines are designed to “elevate menus throughout the day, offering operators quality products that hit the mark in terms of taste, texture and visual appeal – and are versatile and convenient in the kitchen”.

These new additions take the Food To Share range to 20 SKUs, all under Booker’s Chef’s Menu tier.

Upgraded lines include Sausage Rolls, Cod Goujons, Mini Chicken Skewers, Breaded Garlic Mushrooms, Jalapeño Peppers and Mozzarella Sticks, as well as sweet options such as Macarons, Petit Fours, and Churros with Cinnamon Sugar.

The full range, which can be cooked from frozen, looks to meet consumer demand for small plates, tapas style dining, light bar snacks and sharing platters. Portions can be served individually or presented on grazing boards for dining in.

Booker said GLP-1-driven behaviour shifts are also “fundamentally changing how people dine out”, with the products able to “meet the need for smaller, portion-controlled dishes”.

Booker head of own brand Karen Poole said: “With consumers increasingly looking for food and dishes they might not prepare themselves in the home, the new products aim to meet these expectations, bringing global flavours such as kimchi, truffle, ‘nduja and frickles to meet growing demand.

“We know operators need consistency, versatility and speed of execution, and the range will appeal to a wide audience at multiple times of day including meat-free diners, those looking for smaller portions or on GLP-1 medications, as well as customers opting for more indulgent sharing platters.”

She added: “The products are time-saving, easy to prepare and allow operators to keep quality high, costs at a minimum, reduce wastage and maintain operational efficiencies across busy kitchens. This launch is about giving our customers on-trend products that are operationally efficient so they can deliver outstanding dining experiences for their guests time and time again.”
