Brakes Diced Mutton Shoulder

Brakes is launching a new campaign encouraging chefs to make better use of mutton to help customers save money. 

The foodservice wholesaler’s campaign looks to showcase the benefits of mutton and includes the launch of a new range of 100% British farm-assured like-for-like mutton cuts to match lamb products, such as racks, joints, chops, mince and diced. 

A new section of Brakes’ website will offer recipe inspiration and information on the products available. 

“We are committed to identifying, launching and promoting products that help customers save money," said Sysco GB CEO Paul Nieduszynski. "Mutton is a great example of this as it is a delicious, underused alternative to lamb.”

The campaign forms part of the wholesaler’s ‘Ways to Save’ initiative, which is designed to support customers faced with increased operational costs, and offers a range of ways to save money, and make use of promotions. 

Brakes first launched the Ways to Save initiative in March, with what it said was its most comprehensive cashback offer to date, with customers able to get money back on more than 500 of the Classic Sysco products.
