Centrum has made its first foray into gut health with Multibiotics, a duo of daily vitamin capsules designed to “support normal immunity with 18 strains of diverse live cultures”.
Multibiotics Daily (rsp: £16.99/30) and Multibiotics Complete (rsp: £23.99/30) were “scientifically proven to reach the gut alive”, said Centrum. Both feature essential vitamins D, B2 and B12 alongside friendly live bacteria cultures, to support “consumers’ overall wellbeing”.
Multibiotics Daily has up to four billion live cultures, while Multibiotics Complete contains one billion live cultures as well as zinc and iodine to contribute to normal cognitive function. The two variants will roll out this month to Boots, Tesco, and Holland & Barrett.

The latest launch brought “Centrum’s trusted nutritional expertise together with the latest science in gut bacteria to deliver real benefits for consumers”, she added. “This launch not only strengthens Centrum’s leadership in everyday wellbeing but also unlocks new opportunities for our retail and pharmacy partners.”
Personal care - health 2025: supplements become core to wellness
It comes after a busy 12 months of innovation by Haleon. Last February, it added Panmigrol for migraine relief in February, followed by Pirilieve Hayfever Relief Tablets in March.
Haleon continued to expand its portfolio in July with Vitamin D Boost, delivering six times the vitamin D of Centrum Advance. It joined a vitamins, minerals & supplement category up 5.9% in value on a volume gain of 3.4% [NIQ 52 w/e 6 September 2025].
In spring 2025, Haleon earned the MTick certification from menopause awareness company GenM for a selection of products. They included Centrum supplements Women 50+, Advance 50+, Women 30s and Women 60s – for their compliance with European Food Safety Authority-approved health claims, functional ingredients, and alignment with the nutritional needs of menopausal, perimenopausal and postmenopausal women.
