Chopstix Mini Stix box

Noodle bar Chopstix is to launch its first kids menu to expand children’s choices when eating out and offer “more adventurous” options.

The Mini Stix meals are customisable, with the option of vegetable chow mein or egg fried rice served with three mini vegetable spring rolls or six mini chicken balls and the choice of a Fruit Shoot or a bottle of water.

Each box, which is priced from £3.99 and available at all stores and selected delivery services, also features an interactive game.

“It’s great to finally introduce families to the highly anticipated kids meals on the Chopstix menu,” said Chopstix head of marketing Leanne Parker.

“The Mini Stix meals offer a bolder option for kids who want to try something new, and we hope parents will enjoy introducing their children to exciting new flavours which they may not have tried before.”

It comes as Indian street food café brand Chaiiwala has slashed the price of its Kids Box Meals from £4.95 to £2.50 during the school holidays to increase family visits and strengthen its position as a community-focused operator.

The Kids Box Meal features a mini chicken or veggie wala wrap, a cheese and masala beans toastie, or chicken or veggie nuggets, with chips and a Simply Fruity drink, with the deal available in participating cafés until 23 August.
