Coca-Cola will no longer be able to restrict retailers in selling its products exclusively, the fizzy drinks giant has said.

The group has agreed with the European Union to give up all its exclusivity agreements with retailers who will now be free to buy and sell drinks from any supplier.

Retailers will also be able to free up 20% of cooler space for competitors drinks.

The agreement ends a long-running European Union investigation into Coca-Cola’s competition practices.
