CCEP’s alcoholic RTD roster includes Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola, Absolut Vodka & Sprite, Bacardí & Coca-Cola and Schweppes Mix

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners is giving convenience retailers a chance to win a customised Ford E-Transit electric van or one of 10 £500 vouchers.

CCEP’s biggest competition to date would seek to “energise the wholesale channel” and reward retailers who bought into its alcohol RTD portfolio, the supplier said. It will run across major wholesale partners nationwide including Booker, Bestway, Dhamecha and Parfetts until 14 August.

To enter, retailers must purchase four or more cases of CCEP’s alcoholic RTDs – which include Jack Daniel’s & Coca-Cola, Absolut Vodka & Sprite, Bacardi & Coca-Cola and Schweppes Mix – in a single transaction from their chosen wholesale depot.

Following purchase, retailers need to:

  • Scan the QR code available via in-depot PoS kits or digital media containing the microsite QR code
  • Enter their details on a dedicated microsite
  • Retain their proof of purchase in case they are selected as a winner

Convenience retailers can enter the competition as many times as they would like, and all valid entries will be entered into a random draw in August, with winners contacted and prizes fulfilled “shortly afterwards”.

“This giveaway brings together three things: growth, visibility, and excitement,” said Elaine Maher, associate director of alcohol, ready-to-drink at CCEP GB. “It’s the kind of activation that creates real buzz in depot aisles and makes a tangible difference on delivery rounds, and we hope it inspires our retailers to really get behind the ready-to-drink category this summer.

“Ready-to-drink is the fastest-growing alcohol segment globally for the past five years, and we’re investing heavily to ensure our partners are equipped to capitalise on that momentum.”
