A lucky independent retailer is being given the chance to drive a Mercedes-Benz van of their choice for a whole year and, during that time, won't have to pay any insurance, road tax or servicing costs.
Lex Vehicle Leasing is putting up the van up for grabs in the next issue of Grocer Club News, which will appear in The Grocer on March 24.
The competition is open only to independent retailers who are members of The Grocer Club, so make sure you enter the draw and give yourself a chance to drive to and from the cash and carry in absolute luxury.
A Lex Vehicle Leasing spokeswoman said: "The most popular vans are the Sprinter and Vito and when it comes to a choice of colours, the user can have either red, blue, white, yellow, orange turquoise or green.
"We have offices in Marlow, Buckinghamshire; Manchester and Stirling in Scotland. The lucky winner can have the vehicle of his or her choice, which we shall obtain from Mercedes."
The Sprinter has a load capacity of 13.4 cubic metres and the Vito 4.8 cubic metres. Both have an engine capacity of 2.2 litres.
Ruth Brooks, group circulation manager at William Reed Publishing, said: "We are delighted to be able to offer a lucky reader the chance to win the van. I would like to thank Lex Vehicle Leasing for their co-operation and generosity in putting up such an attractive prize, which I know will be much sought after by Grocer Club members."
