This year’s Convenience Retailing Show in Birmingham concludes today after a successful three days of activity.

More than 200 exhibitors from the UK and overseas were to be found at the show, looking to attract new business and catch up with existing customers and a range of products for the convenience industry were launched over the three-day event.

All the leading groups were signed up as exhibitors said exhibition director Neil Felton. “The list of this year’s symbol and buying group exhibitors reads like a who’s who of the industry and is testimony to the importance of the convenience store sector.”

Exhibitors include Spar, Costcutter, Budgens, Bestway, Key, Londis, Nisa-Today’s, Premier, Select & Save and Somerfield.

Felton added: “We’ve always said that no retailer can afford to miss the show, but it’s truer than ever this year. It will give retailers the chance to meet key people at these groups, to discuss their needs and plan for the future.”

CRS runs alongside International Forecourt and Fuel Equipment Exhibition (IFFE) at the Birmingham NEC.
