David Sands has introduced a new company logo and invested £800,000 in two new stores in Fife, giving The Grocer Top 50 independent a total of 22 stores.
The company has modified its logo and introduced the strapline 'Your friendly local store ... with a whole lot more' alongside it.
It has also acquired a 2,000 sq ft store in Wellesley Street, Methil, which has been converted from two adjacent office premises and employs 22 full and part-time staff.
A similarly sized shop in St Andrews Street, Dunfermline, which was an existing c-store and incorporates a PO counter, has also just been bought. It employs 15 local people.
The additions to the portfolio are in line with its stated aim in December to build store numbers. New builds are also being considered.
MD David Sands said: "The addition of these two outlets is part of our future strategy of growth following on from our investment last year in a £1.5m HQ and warehouse in Kinross."
