Doritos has appointed chef Gordon Ramsay as the new global partner for its foodservice venture, Doritos Loaded.

Built around the brand’s flavoured tortilla chips, Doritos Loaded looks to transform the snack into a meal topped with different proteins, sauces and seasonings, that can be enjoyed in a restaurant, ordered for delivery or customised at home.

Ramsay will create eight signature Doritos Loaded recipes, which will be rolled out to restaurant and hospitality operators in key global markets. Several will also appear in Ramsay’s own restaurants.

The partnership will also extend into Doritos’ relationship with Formula 1, with two bespoke recipes exclusively made for Formula 1 fan zone food trucks. The first of these includes Doritos Loaded Hellfire Chicken Nachos, created by Ramsay using his Hellfire sauce.
