Drinks challenger brands are to be given the chance to pitch their products to a selection of key trade delegates and buyers at a pan-industry conference in November.
As part of Drink Tank, a one-day conference jointly organised by The Grocer and The Morning Advertiser, suppliers are being invited to pitch their innovations in front of delegates at 1 America Square, London on Tuesday 10 November.
Shortlisted suppliers will have the chance to present on stage to the conference audience, before delegates vote for their favourite new product or innovation.
The winner will receive an advertising package from The Grocer and The Morning Advertiser to help their NPD reach a wider audience.
To apply, suppliers should fill out the attached form online here.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for challenger brands and new products to pitch their concept to an audience packed with industry experts,” explained James Beeson, food & drink editor at The Grocer. “Not only is this a chance for smaller suppliers to grow exposure of their brand or innovation, it could also result in them winning a lucrative advertising package across the industry’s key on and off-trade titles.
“If you’ve got a groundbreaking product that you think is about to take the market by storm, Drink Tank is the place to pitch it!”
Alongside the new product showcase, attendees at Drink Tank will have the opportunity to learn more about the key themes, challenges and opportunities set to dominate the drinks sector now and in the years to come.
Talks, presentations and panel discussions will focus on a broad range of topics, from the impact of GLP on consumption trends, to the growing importance of the low, no & mid-strength sector.
Speakers confirmed for Drink Tank include Fever-Tree CEO Tim Warrillow, Moth founder Rob Wallis, Jubel CEO Jesse Wilson, Nice co-founder Lucy Busk and M&S head of BWS Caroline Thompson-Hill.
Tickets for the event are on sale now at drinktank.co.uk.
