Duncan Farms has announced a major expansion of its partnership with Co-op.
The family-owned Scottish producer said it would supply Duncan’s Eggs to 152 stores across Scotland, marking a substantial increase from its current 23-store listing.
As part of the expansion, 132 Co-op stores will also stock Duncan’s Eggs Organic Free Range eggs, a development touted as a Co-op exclusive.
The retailer will now offer a mix of the brand’s core Free Range and Organic Free Range products, widening access to Scottish-produced eggs that prioritise traceability and animal welfare.
Rachael Duncan, owner of Duncan Farms, said the extended listing demonstrated rising consumer demand for the brand’s eggs.

“We’re excited to be reaching more shoppers who are looking for traceable, nutritious Scottish free-range eggs,” she said, adding the launch of the organic line with Co-op represented an important next step for the business.
The organic eggs are produced in line with certified organic standards at a small number of selected free-range farms in Aberdeenshire and Moray.
All Duncan’s Eggs feature full traceability back to the farm of origin through the company’s egg-tracking system. The expanded organic offering reinforced Duncan Farms’ commitment to transparency and higher-welfare farming practices, the business said.

“As a member-owned retailer, we’re committed to backing British farming, supporting local producers and offering our customers high-quality, ethical choices,” said Katie Schofield, senior buying manager, Local at Co-op.
“Duncan’s Eggs share our focus on transparency, animal welfare and doing the right thing for communities, so we’re proud to bring both their free-range and exclusive organic range to even more Co-op stores across the UK.”
She added: “This expansion strengthens our commitment to offering great-tasting, responsibly sourced Scottish produce to our members and customers.”
The expanded listings are expected to begin rolling out from 10 February.
